Spiritual Energy 11/30/2009

Spiritual energy at times can be quite obvious as it is in the picture of my children. On this day my children were not feeling well. Unlike most Moms I did the exact opposite. After layering up clothes, I took them out of the fake air environment and into the woods. You can see there energy was much improved and we only did a one mile hike. Though they were feeling quite low physically, Spiritual energy was high and that is where metabolism comes from. So next time you or your loved ones are feeling the yucks come on go for a walk in the woods and let mother nature heal you.

The hardest part to raising a spiritual child is getting out of the way. That’s right, most parents are in the way. Your child is born "turned in, turned on and hooked up." And so were you. As we grow into adulthood we get bombarded by rules. Rules that never should have been made and always get broken because they go against our innate sense of being. We are here to experience, expand and enjoy our time here on planet earth. So keep that as your guide line. Know that your child has her own guidance system that we call Feelings. Teach them to tune into that, when they reach a point of question, or not knowing...instead of giving them the answer. Witch may be the wrong answer because you are coming from your adult point of view. Ask how do you feel about _________. If it feels good, makes you happy full of joy then it’s the right thing. If it feels bad, makes your tummy feel sick or you want to cry then don’t do it. And if you are not quite sure wait until it feels right or until you come across something better. This is good for us all to do. By doing this you are allowing your child to tune into their deepest self, their higher self to get the answers. Instead of going outside of themselves looking for an alien answer.

As an adult I was raised on every reason why I shouldn’t do something based on someone else fear.

"You’ll get hurt", "You don’t know enough to try that", "There is not enough for everyone", "You may die", "Let someone else to it", and it go’s on. All these words taught me was that I was limited that the world was limited. When in truth it was all a lie. I am limitless and the world is limitless. And that is what we need to teach our children.

Through your actions and love say to your child: "Dear Child You are amazingly limitless and the world is full of wonderful ways for you to express this. And for me to express this too. We are having a joyous experience here together."
